It is funny..I don't even think about it anymore. I just thought it was pretty good and fit with our decor in our first home, so off to the framers' it went.
And you are right, downstairs will be great for grandkids. I have tons of picture books in the closets that can come out and put a craft table down there. I can be a teacher all over again, but with a lot less stress. Only the fun stuff.
The octagonal windows are really cool. My mother-in-law drew the house plans with the three sets each a little further out for a view from all rooms. She was really quite talented and a lovely lady.
I gotta tell you...I am busy, but I am loving retirement.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10185422453541735778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1369505808572306850.post-45965197605557453992015-09-23T08:45:17.691-05:002015-09-23T08:45:17.691-05:00Sandy you are a better woman than me as that cross...Sandy you are a better woman than me as that cross stitch would have gone right in the trash! Lol I think your downstairs will be a perfect grands playroom when they come along! I do love your octagonal windows! They are so unique! You have accomplished a lot in a short time! Retirement suits you!Arlene Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17845514896764280013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1369505808572306850.post-49927646730010776142015-09-23T07:16:36.222-05:002015-09-23T07:16:36.222-05:00The rocks thing is quite funny. He had a gravel drive and we would always stand around to talk before getting in the car to leave, Paul Allen was on the ground packing his pockets.

There are lots of great memories down there. It has been kind of funny to watch him when he comes over, he goes down to check on the area to see what I have done. He told his sister the other night, that I had fixed it up really nice now that he was gone. He is sentimental like me, because I do things are going well with his move.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10185422453541735778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1369505808572306850.post-58717734445251254702015-09-22T21:39:18.784-05:002015-09-22T21:39:18.784-05:00What a great room! To have a shower as you enter the living space is divine! What a fun place of fun memories!Leslie Anne Tarabellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02196752637270349443noreply@blogger.com
