February 5, 2026

I have not been in a writing mood, but I have accumulated enough information to put together a post. I finished the sandpiper stitch yesterday. I am taking it to the frame shop tomorrow.

It is larger than the one I stitched for myself last year about this same time. The new one to be framed is on 28 count and the plain linen you buy in the craft shops. The one below is the one that hangs in my guest bathroom and is stitched on 32 count linen. I can't remember the name of the color that it was dyed. I think when I get the above one matted and framed it will be lovely too.

Here it is in my bathroom. I love it! As I said in an earlier post, I love stitching all of the birds in the Crossed Wing Collection.

Speaking of birds....

Jeff gave me a coffee table book for Christmas, called Birds of Florida by Zach Jones.

I will admit to just kind of sitting it aside thinking it was just another bird book. When I finally picked it up almost 3 weeks post Christmas, I was completely blown away. I should have known if Jeff gave it to me as a present that it was going to be special. That man is absolutely the best gift giver on the planet. He knows me so well and has truly blessed me so many times.

The above picture is one I picked to show you because I pass this location at least once a week on the island. It is an old electrical pole left because it is home to a pair of ospreys that return each year to have their babies. How do we know it is the same pair? Well, the book does a wonderful job of explaining how their eyes are like a human fingerprint. They have dots in the yellow glowing iris that can be in different locations.

The book has the most amazing pictures of all my favorite birds of Florida. I would only add the cardinal and the mockingbird, but most of his pictures are the water birds.

The clincher though was this photographer is a wordsmith too. His descriptions are literally amazing. I would only change the font. Font is important to easy reading. Take it from the old school teacher here.

He even has this cutie. I honestly can never get enough of these guys when I walk on the beach. They entertain me so well.

This would make a wonderful gift for your Florida bird lover.

What I have been up to this cold winter?

In an effort not to dread the days, I made me a list of projects especially for the early dark nights to keep me awake. Since, I don't have that much to declutter as in past years. (I still have much too much stuff, but I am not ready to part with those things, just yet.) You may remember that I already knocked one of those projects off my list with getting our ancestry books done. They are very nice and I am proud to have them completed. Of course, projects always lead to new ideas. In doing those books, I realized how in both sides of the family a church history had been an important piece of family history.

I have not mentioned it on the blog and never felt a need to share here, but Jeff and I stepped out in 2007 with 3 other couples and planted a church here in our town. It was life changing. It was hard work, but such a wonderful thing that has brought many blessings to this community. I sat down the month of January and wrote the story of its history. You know you added something worth while to the ancestry book when both kids stopped what they were doing and actually read it through and said thank you.

My latest project has been digitizing photos. I sent off our home videos over the course of 2 years a little at a time looking for sales on Legacy Box.

I decided to try my hand at the enormous amount of photographs at our home. Outrageous numbers. My mom was a picture taker for her whole family. I have tried to send many of those to the respective relatives.

I have two very large albums of me from birth to high school graduation. I have gotten 1 of those done. Whew!!!!

That red checked tablecloth still comes out on occasion.

I can be a little Type A when it comes to getting things done once I start. I am forcing a little break this week before I start on album #2, but I would like to have them done by the time change.

I am hoping to maybe give my mom a digital frame to view these and current ones for her birthday next month.

All of this has helped me be productive this winter.

I am going to refrain from complaining about the weather because any long time reader of this blog knows I am a full on SUMMER girl. My goodness...the thought of NO electricity in below freezing weather put me in my place!

Oh photos again... I still love this hallway so much.

No matter how old your children get you still love seeing their younger pictures.

On the agenda for this weekend and next week is getting outside. I am going to be cutting back my bottlebrush shrubs. I didn't do it last year because I was trying to make sure they survived the 100 year snow event. They have and are getting a wee bit too tall, so they are getting cut back. It is also time to prune roses. In our zone, they need to be done by Valentine's Day. Can we believe it is almost Valentine's Day? I realized I could use a little Valentine's decor. Probably will look at the clearance when I go out to get my stitch dropped off at Hobby Lobby. The grandchildren notice Mimi's seasonal things.

That's a wrap.

Dreaming of spring for now,
Sandy

January 23, 2026

It has been 2 plus weeks since I last posted, so here we go. We will talk about stitching, puttering around the house, the weather and family stuff.  I think I found enough pictures to break up the words without family being the focus.

First up is what I have been stitching...
I did quit procrastinating and finish The Twelve Days of Christmas. I like it, but it would have looked better framed. Live and learn.

I may fluff it a bit more next Christmas.

I am currently stitching for another daughter of our friends. You may remember I stitched a verse for Laura on her high school graduation. Her sister Alayna is who told me she would like it. I didn't love the framing, but I was in a rush to do it.

I had no idea these girls would be so crazy about my stitching. I am now stitching Alayna something I have stitched before. I think it is a just right piece for her. She is still in school working on a master's, but she is working full time too and moved to her first place on her own. I am stitching the sandpipers that I did here. I am enjoying every stitch even though it wasn't that long ago. My favorite designer has definitely become The Crossed Wing Collection. I love stitching the wildlife and plants. I know it seems odd to some, but they are purely delight to stitch.

I am also stitching on a small piece mostly because I am impatient. I am looking ahead to this summer I really wanted a patriotic stitch to commemorate the  Semiquincentennial. I have so many patriotic stitches so I really don't need another one, but it is not everyday a nation celebrates 250 years. I downloaded a pdf stitch from Etsy. Here is the picture of it from the pattern.

From Needle Treasure Nook

I do plan to change the stars to 1776 and the 1776 to 2026. I also am using brighter colors than the pattern called for. They don't look all that muted in their picture but the floss choices are more muted.

I have been working on those hotspots I mentioned in my last post. For almost a week I just walked into the 2 rooms with the problems and pondered the situation before I ever started trying to solve the issues. Both rooms and their problems ended up being connected.

This bedroom has too many things from Mama's house just laying around. Mainly photographs. I worked so hard on them, but I am left with photos that I will probably sort out of albums and either give away or throw away. I can't do that for now, but I have procrastinated finding a home for them. I finally go in there and consolidated some of the bins and rearranged the closet in that bedroom to hold the stuff. It feels so much better when I walk in that room not to see all that sitting out in the floor. Now, I can NOT open the closet or I feel like I am going crazy.

One corner looking so much better.
Notice that TV in the room.

That cause the problem in the sewing room.

I once had the printer on that little table in that room. Didn't love it, but it wasn't a thing you used often. You can even see the printer paper still on that table under the TV.

We moved the printer causing me much trouble to put a TV in there when Mama was here after her fall a few years back. We had cable then, so we moved her a rocking chair and TV in that room. The chair is with her now and that TV just sits. We no longer have cable and I haven't bought a device for it to read the Internet. It is just taking up space and will continue for now.

The printer went to my sewing counter which was driving me NUTTY!

I found a new home for the printer and the counter looks better. I will still have to deal with the stacks that I make. I am a stacker. It is not my best trait. I use this counter to fold clothes, organize taxes, and sew or finish a cross stitch piece. It is multipurpose so I need to keep it somewhat neat. The plant is only there for winter.

I have been working on a few more projects, but that will do for now.

I framed Lindsay some beach pictures for her new office. She had a big wall as you enter her office and a conference table. I think our inexpensive plan worked out well.

Last Sunday before dawn just as local meteorologists said there was a snow flurry.

I am no longer interested at all. No snow I say!!!

I think it is looking a little more possible later this next week. Two years in a row....weird!!!
I am over winter. I have tried to a be a good winter girl. I really and truly have. I have done well, but I am telling Mr. Weather ---February 1st, Sandy is looking for springy weather.

I bet he is listening!

January entertains me with the ducks and pelicans.

Close up of them.

First camellia bowl of 2026.

Valerie turned 1.

I made her a smash cake and cupcakes. We added a set of zoo animals with tutus and birthday hats. A zoo visit was done rather than a traditional party.

(The boys all promptly removed the tutus.)

Mama has been filling her time crocheting again. She made this one for Valerie.

Gus interrupting my nap.

He did decide to let me finish.

Hoping everyone stays warm,
Sandy

Busy with Summer Chores This Past Week

Summer...my favorite time of the year. I know I am almost alone in that sentiment, but that is ok. I am soaking up this summer with everything I have in me. When you feel like you skipped an entire summer, you will cherish the one in front of you like it manna from Heaven, and hey, it might just be for me!

I will share about Jacksonville at the end. For now, let's just do one of those old fashioned blog posts that women like to see or at least me on this point. Topic - cleaning and sorting and just all the random stuff of one's week.

After getting back from Jacksonville, I really began to feel like my old teacher days. Oh no, the 4th is over and the summer will almost be over. I need to put my tail in gear and get some things done that hade been saved for summer. I kind of decided I would leave off the beach for the week and get back to that next week. I wanted desperately to clean my windows which got ignored last year entirely. That is not a good thing on the back with the salty air, and they were driving me crazy. I had attempted to clean the ones that I could get to on the upper deck by hand, but I wasn't satisfied. In fact, I wasn't even sure if my old way of doing it would work after a full year of neglect, and that I might have to hire a professional. I have used the kind of Windex that you put on the end of your hose twice a year and that has always kept them clean. I ended up trying the spray kind, but I had to do it two days in a row. Basically, it got off the top layer of grime the first day and during the day looked great, but the next morning I could tell it would take more. I did the same routine again the next day and it is much better. I have two windows downstairs on one side that still have a layer of salty grime. I am going to have to figure out another plan of action for them, but TRUST me I will be back to my regular spring and fall routine. It makes it a much easier job and I have spent entirely too much time on windows due to not doing it last year. One of the perils of waterfront living.

Then I set myself on cleaning out a storage room which we call the "Fishing Room." It is not air conditioned, but just a storage room downstairs with a quick entry from the water. My in-laws kept their Christmas tree and wrapping supplies in there, but for the life of me I don't remember much else being in there. It has a shower in there and that was used by Paul Allen and crew back in middle and high school. We have always used it as the storage for fishing, boating supplies, etc.

Over time it had become a disaster. Jeff is not one to put things back after using them and I won't rat on him too much, because I have my own things to take care of, but that room was killing me. Even though it is not in my line of sight, it was just a royal mess. I set out to tidy it. Not really deal with everything in there, but hopefully get it to a point that Jeff would be interested in organizing it and dealing with the clutter. Now,  if I really wanted to show you the bad I would show you a full before, but I actually started before I thought to do that.

You can see the entry door at the bottom of the stairs ajar. The little short door goes under the house. On the other side of the house is a full sized door and we keep yard tools and lawn mower in there. On the fishing room side of the house, it is not tall enough for one to stand up completely, but I almost can. We have some outdoor Christmas decorations in there. Although, I have downsized so much of that. We aren't getting younger, so I have gotten rid of much of those decorations.

It has a big sink and the shower. That paint sitting on the ledge is gone now. I had really planned to paint this room a decade ago and this was leftover paint I had planned to start using. It is toast now.

Wondering what the shower looks like. A very nice shower filled with fishing poles.

This is the other side of the entry door from the stairs. More just stuff AND fishing poles. I can't say anything because I have way too much in my craft room, but he says some of them are freshwater poles from as far back as college and some belonged to his dad.

Then into the larger area...
The double doors lead out the back side of the house right, so easy access for when Jeff returns from fishing. I must say that Paul Allen uses the room too. He did notice that I had worked. He said he had not let Miles go in there because there were hooks all over the place. He would be right. Lots of stuff was on the floor.

Our home has one of those in-house vacuums. It is really nice and I like it much. I don't use it as often as I once did. It doesn't seem to cut off and that unnerves me so I keep it unplugged. I would have to go plug it in to use it and you can imagine how that goes. I had someone look at it and they found nothing wrong. It does an amazing job though.

Of course, Gus had to approve of my clean up job.
Oh and that curtain drives me nuts. You can't see from the outside that it doesn't fit the window because of bushes, but I really need to deal with that. I am going to try to find some coordinating fabric and sew something on the bottom.

Along with lots of stuff on the floor that table had so much stuff on it. I cleaned it off as much as I could and put it back in the cabinets.

As you can see it is a nice storage room and I am lucky to have it. It keeps all those fishing poles out of the garage. I wanted to tidy it enough to bring back in the 2 plastic tubs of inflatables and extra life jackets that are just in the playroom.

I have always wanted to paint it, but that still hasn't happened and it is not happening this summer as I have more pressing things I want to do with the time I have left.

Windows and cleaning out that room have swallowed 3 full days of my time and energy.

*****

I read a blog post the other day. I think it is one to read. I loved the message of blogging. She called it the old fashioned way, but for those of us who still like blogs I think it is what drew me to them in the first place. I want to get back to that. Even though my time is limited and I am not able to comment and communicate as much as I would like, I think I am going to hop back into it as much as time will allow. I am not going to let my inabilities to do as much as I want to hinder me anymore.

I am going to stop this post here with a little update on our Mayo visit, but I have more to share about the things I notice in just daily life being home. I will say that the past few years have renewed my love for my home. Home is that place where you feel comfortable. I have really embraced home.

*****

We made it to our Mayo appointment for Jeff. As I said, I didn't know that I would hear anything super special and that turned out to be true. We are trying to adjust to this new thing in our lives. I did enjoy meeting the doctor and while nothing "new" was added I was glad we went. There are different perspectives here in this diagnosis. There is Jeff's, mine, and the kids. Those perspectives are all different. I am working on mine so that I can help with the other's.

I thought the appointment went as well as it could and the doctor is one I am glad we have. We will stay with the Mayo Clinic for now even though it is a long drive. I don't think anything over here is going to match it not even in Pensacola. The medication dosage has been upped which I expected. He has some trials with it and can even up it more and will then meet on a video appointment in 3 months. A wee bit of physical therapy has been ordered to just show him some techniques to help with balance and the kind of shuffle and freezing of feet. The doctor thinks Jeff can do this on his own if he is shown some techniques. We are working on getting that set up in Pensacola where there are more resources than here for such PT.

I wish I could type more about where we are in this journey, but I am just not ready. I am going to share more in the future as I sort out how to best share useful things and honor Jeff.

*****

Like I said, I plan to blog more even if it is short posts. I will be back in a few days with some stitching and more stuff happening over here in Home Ec Major Land.

Grateful and blessed,

Sandy

Winter Days

The best thing about January and winter are these amazing plants. Camellias rank up there as one of my favorite flowers, and the fact that they adorn the not so favorite months is a plus in my book.

Winter is here in northwest Florida and I do my best to enjoy it. I have learned over the last decade to make it the season of sorting out closets and starting up tasks that I might not do any other season of the year. It has worked for the most part. I have cleaned out one large closet and painted it which was a big win for me. I have been busy each day with other similar things to make the cold days more productive.

Other than the usual chores and decluttering, I have stitched, read, and worked on some projects that would be good to get done while I can't get outside. The weather has been crazy here so having these projects has been good to distract from the lack of outdoor time. I thought about this thought the other day...I always wonder how people get so much cross stitching done. I think I have figured out the solution to that. Their house is in order and they aren't sentimental fools like me who have loaded their closets with stuff that should have been let go ages ago and they spend their winter days stitching all day. That is how they do it!

With that said, I must say my house is pretty orderly and my closets are so organized but the stuff in them is me not being able to unload things that should have left long ago.

Exhibit A

Movie camera and movie projector complete with original paperwork. Both of these items were purchased by Mother in probably 1966 ---maybe '65. I have had them neatly tucked away for decades ....yep decades. They look brand new. Both even work. I never plan to make movies with the camera and I have sent off all of our home movies and had them placed on flash drives so I won't be pulling out the home projector any time soon for movie night.

I have set a goal of trying to let go of that kind of item in 2024. Surely there is a collector out there who would love them. If not at the end of the year I suppose I will donate them. I don't really want to make tons of money but would rather sell them that donate them for some reason. I have advertised on Ebay already with no luck, so I am trying Facebook Marketplace. We will see what happens. Along those same lines, I really thought I had all pictures and movies and anything related in order until I pulled down the slide carousels from Jeff's parents downstairs. I thought they were empty and I was going to try and get those gone too. When I opened the boxes they were all full. I have already gotten them ready to send off to Legacy Box, so hopefully that is truly the last of that kind of thing.

On our one closet that we pulled out and gave away a bunch of stuff and painted, I kept about 3 items and put on the top shelf. If they have not been used by June, I will rid myself of them as well. None of them are hurting anything, but I am just still reeling from clearing out 2 houses in 17 months and don't want things we will not use left for kids to clean out.

Exhibit B

This is a handy dandy stacking container for food. I remember Mom using it in the 1960's for Homecoming at church, trips to the lakes or beach. She was going to get rid of 10 years ago when she moved down here and I picked it up and brought it home. Haven't used it once. It is really cool. I showed it to the kids who thought it was cool, but I bet none of us pull it out to use.

*****

That is what I have been up to since the 1st. Jeff is finding his way too. I have kept him busy with some of that decluttering and sending him to Goodwill and the grocery store. I think he will have enough around here to keep him busy until he figures out how much outside of the home activity he wants. Then I think he will have more options that he probably even wants.

We kept both Miles and Palmer for our first day back babysitting. They were angels together and honestly it was a really easy day.

So for some fun pictures. I have stitched a little on Miles's Advent calendar...

and on The Ole Florida Sampler. I am thinking that house needs some backstitching for definition, but am waiting until I stitch all around it.

I have been reading and working on the goal of finishing my ancestry book for my kids this winter. I have about 2 months so I am trying to set aside some time each week for finishing that up. I think I can do it if there are no big life interruptions.

That is the pretty boring life of Sandy, but I am contented with it for certain.

Oh and I left up my cardinals in the snow for January in the kitchen. Counter with my planner and papers that I was sorting didn't get moved for the picture. Real life!

Until next time,
Sandy

Catching Up

The longer I stay away the harder I find it is to compose a post. I am going to try and get my brain juiced up and share what I have been doing with my days.

I am still on my yearly January refresh of organization and cleaning. I did get one closet painted. Painting can only be done on the weekend, because I just can’t pull that out and keep a baby. I started with my smallest project. I learned a few things that will help me going forward and I am not doing every closet in the house. Just those that have a lot of use and consequently just have a good bit of scuffing.

I started with my short closet (it is over an air intake) that is a multipurpose closet in our kitchen to garage hallway. It holds the medicine cabinet supplies, the paper goods, lightbulbs, batteries and my very large cookbook collection.

Here it all freshly painted. If you are wondering what that white box is, it is a recipe holder. It has index cards and the letter filers. It was there from my mother-in- law. I have chosen to leave it there because it is a sweet reminder of her.

Now, here it is all filled back up with lots of cookbooks. I do use a lot of them. I still have some I could get rid of and I suppose I could write he recipes down from many of them but I have a great fondness for cookbooks although I haven’t bought a new one in quite a while.

I have one more in that hallway that holds small appliances, a portion of my bedroom closet and them a storage room that I am planning to do.

I have also been organizing and sending off home movies to Legacy Box. I had sent my small ones on reels and the first of our VHS tapes last year. I watch for good deals. For instance last year, during the Super Bowl game they offered a 60% off.
I chose the flash drive for them to be put on because, I knew I could make multiple copies for the kids and other family members from a flash drive to a new flash drive. I have done that with my first two batches.

I am storing them for myself and family members like I do my floss. I take an index card and write what is  on the flashdrive and them store it in a snack size Ziplock baggie.
I have enjoyed watching these again and sharing them with family members. We have all had some good laughs and some cries too, but all good to have them useable.
I have a box currently sent away, it takes about 6 weeks for them to return, I have one more set of 7 to be sent off. Down to the last of them. I will of course look for a good deal during the Super Bowl this year and get them all done. Either way, that is task I want checked off in ‘22.

I have been steadily but slowly like the tortoise not the hare checking things off my list. January has been a good month for that. The painting tasks are really all I have left to do. Of course, each task you do often adds new ones to the list but that is just the way of life. When I get those done, my mind will shift to outdoors. I have a good many things outside that need to be done.

Currently, I am listening to the sounds of workers outside. This time of year he water in the bayou recedes so that you can often see dock problems. Three of our neighbors have been getting work done. One a whole new seawall, another a whole new dock, and a third a new retaining wall higher up from the seawall. We are getting some new likings on our dock. Over time they do just deteriorate. We all jumped on the guy while he had his barge over here. I feel for the boys because it has been some of the coldest weather around here. Real wintery. They have suits on but it is still just so cold.

I do have one question. The other day I saw an Instagram post with a question for viewers. She was talking about organizing books (of which I own a LOT) and placing them on shelving, she asked if you took your book covers off. I was in shock at the answer percentage. Why? I love books!
****Libraries, bookstores, and fabric stores all have the same effect on me. I can walk in and  just know I am going to be there for a while browsing and soaking up such sights. I love looking at all the covers and wondering what is in that book. I love all the color and patterns in fabrics just wondering what possibilities they hold. Never would I take all the covers off. I wouldn’t know what the book is at a glance. Now, I have taken a cover off to decorate a space with the books working with the color of the spine but I am one who can’t even throw a cover away. The answer turned out to be 75% yes that they remove the covers before placing them on their shelves with 25% no. Well that sent me into deep thoughts on whether I was missing out on something. I haven’t tried it yet. Probably won’t but I am curious. Pipe in with your thoughts:)

I have been stitching and hopefully before the weekend is over I will share my progress on two stitches. I have also been sharing my stitching time with some books. I will share one of those with you later too.

As Jeff and I suspected his brother has started the downward slope with his cancer. My posting will be sporadic as I predicted this year. It’s life.
And poor Jeff had a whopper of a place cut off his nose. They had to do plastic surgery afterwards. I have to play nurse with bandages of which I am, not good. I am a squeamish nurse.

On a positive note, a prayer was answered. An older lady has moved into Mom’s neighborhood. They are walking together and she went with her to her church who has a game night for seniors twice. Dominoes! Mother loves them. Back at home she was in 2 groups and she has missed that. This has been so good for her.

Other than that my days are spent loving on Palmer. I did have Tucker a few days as their daycare got closed for sickness a few days. Those days wear me out. All is well.
Be back soon with some stitches,
Sandy

Bring Back Normal

First, let me just say I am a terrible blogger friend. I am popping in and reading all my favorite blogs but I am not always commenting or replying to my own commenters. I am chalking it up to having Jeff home, Tucker here, and mostly my mindset. I am trying to keep the sanity and like most of you there are good days and bad and the good means a lot more tuning out which isn't exactly the best thing either.

So let's move onto other things.

I probably wouldn't have posted until I had a finish on my bunny stitch, but with the quarantine I am not going to finish it fully for awhile.

You see it needs a little something else in the corner, but....

after many attempts to put a bow there that just didn't go, I tried a yo yo, covered buttons, buttons from my stash, etc. Nothing seemed quite right, but what I think will look good and Hubby agrees is a sunflower button. The little bunny has a sunflower on her headband. I think less is best in this case. Sorry for the dark photo, but it was getting late when I took the picture. It will have to wait awhile because I am not about to go anywhere right now.

Here is a close up of the cording which I tried again to mix colors. I had done this once before when I made the Auburn Santa. I saw it on Flosstube the other day. I might have tried to many colors to mix, but it looks ok. I just didn't think I could choose red or blue.

My week is definitely off having Jeff home. I won't go into detail about his time here, but basically he is choosing to work from home to make sure I am not exposed to the many people who vacationed for spring break. Spring break then turned into this stay at home and schools going online. He is very busy doing conference calls and all of it makes me a bit nervous.

When he is not on the phone ---he is constantly moving. He can't sit still for 2 seconds. I have no idea how he will ever be retired.

Above is the only picture I had of leaves on the ground, but it is live oak leaf drop season. Every March they drop their leaves and the ground, drive, roads are covered!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean full cover in the circle and the road coming into our house. Today seemed to be the day that everyone decided they might be getting close to being all down and all came out to mow, blow, and bag.

And like a rite of passage, April will bring the little wormy things that fall off them before the new leaves appear. You can bet your bottom dollar that it will happen in April and that rain will come before you can get all of those up and make a big mess.

Other than that, they are the most gorgeous of trees.

Jeff has been working, then he does yard work and in between all of that he has been working on redoing some of the kitchen cabinets. He started this project a year ago. He would restain a door or drawer every now and then. Now, he is down to one set to do. I am glad for that, so I guess if this goes on much longer, I will get a lot of honey dos done.

I mentioned a while back that I changed planners this year. It is one of the few things I still splurge on post retirement. I went with a new one for several reasons, some of which was I wanted something smaller, but still big enough for what I was used to doing with it, they were designed by a local girl (well, Pensacola), and they were just so pretty.

Here is a picture of it followed by this week vs a week back in February when I just wanted a day where I didn't have to go somewhere. Seems I go my wish...

THIS week...

This is called staying home and can't concentrate on anything!
 vs...real life...
This is normal.

A monthly view for those who like planners.

Well folks, I am ready for normal.
Kristan, my niece is beginning to sweat over home schooling. She texted the other night that she wasn't cut out for it and I had to chuckle because she is right, however, she will get it done. BUT, what about all those that won't get it done. The teacher in me takes on too many worries.

There are too many worries with this. I am trying so hard not to think of all of them. I really thought I had given up being such a worrier. I realize I have not.

I know God has this, but turning my mind off has proven to be a bit harder than I like.
